Lauren Mulé is a filmmaker based in New York City specializing in editing, writing, and directing. She honed her craft at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts, earning a BFA in Film Production. While at FSU, Lauren directed and edited four films, including a documentary, and contributed to over 30 other student projects in various roles. Her experience spans more than 1,000 hours across departments, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process.
Beyond her formal training, Lauren thrives in collaborative creative spaces. Whether bringing musicians together to record a song she’s written or motivating friends to join her on long runs (a group that she jokingly calls her “running cult”), she brings leadership, enthusiasm, and a knack for connection to everything she does. She’s eager to contribute her unique blend of technical skill and collaborative spirit to a dynamic creative environment. Whether behind the camera or in an editing suite, Lauren’s goal remains the same. She wants to connect with others through storytelling.
